Terms of Service

Group Chat FC ("the Service") is operated by Pranay Prasad ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What Group Chat FC is

Group Chat FC is a private gaming tracker for friend groups who play EA FC, FIFA, eFootball, or similar football video games. It records self-reported match results, standings, fixtures and awards. It is not a gambling service, fantasy sports service, or betting product. No real-money wagering or prize pools are offered or facilitated.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• You are responsible for keeping your Google sign-in credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information (e.g. display name) and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully, or for fraud, spam, or harassment.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
• Attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service, or upload malware.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service.

4. Free and paid features

Joining and playing in a league is free. Hosting a league season requires a Pro subscription (monthly or annual) or a one-time Season Pass. Prices are shown on the Pricing page.

5. Payments, billing, refunds and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, subscription renewal, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms.

6. Subscriptions

• Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time via Paddle's customer portal (paddle.net); access continues to the end of the paid period.
• A Season Pass is a one-time purchase covering a single season on any league you host.

7. User content

You retain ownership of the content you enter (league names, match scores, comments). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store and display that content solely to operate the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Pranay Prasad and protected by applicable IP laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan.

9. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. On termination your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you.
